Dr. Anderson was a Presidential Scholar in the Arts and Peter J. Wallace Fiction Award recipient at Yale University.

He has studied writing with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Marilynne Robinson at the New York State Writers Institute. His students have won first prizes from The New York Times, as well as national medals from Scholastic Writing contest.They have gone on to study writing at Yale University, the University of Iowa, and the John Locke Institute at Oxford University.Beyond all the prizes and accolades, which fade in importance over time, Dr. Anderson wants to help making writing an important part of students lives, a resource to help them communicate their ideas, reflect on their lives,and enrich the world of their imagination.
